Jacob and Jackson summer time fun

 

Here is a picture of Jacob and Jackson. Jacob is 5 months old and Jackson is 6 weeks old.  Jacob looks so funny here, like what am I doing in this infant seat?!! Jackson went to the doctor today and weighed 9 lbs. 5oz. Yeah Jackson! They can let him sleep longer periods of time at night now. That will help Jennifer so much.

Someone likes his first taste of rice cereal!

Leah, Kirk and Jacob are here for 2 weeks. (Kirk has to go home after one week) We are having so much fun waking up to the little guy (see new pictures, not so little for five months!) We have a busy week with my niece Jacqueline's wedding. A lot of family is flying in for the wedding on Saturday. We are having a Rogers/Rondeau dinner at Bob and Liz' Thursday night. It will be great getting together with everyone before the festivities begin. Jacob had his first taste of solid food yesterday.

Jackson's First Play Date

Jackson had his first play date with Lilly (3) and Barrett (1) and their mom, Colleen and Ma (grandma) yesterday and our house. I used to work with Bobbie(Ma) at Cascade Dental. We reconnected and thought it would be fun to get the young mommies together. We had such a good time.

I asked Leah to take a picture of Jacob today and she sent this. He is getting to be such a big boy!
They fly into SeaTac on Friday from Nashville. We will spend a couple of days at the cabin. Stacey and Allan are coming up too and we are also having a mini family reunion with Craig's side of the family. Of course the weather has been sunny and hot recently, but the forecast is for high 60's at the cabin. sigh.

Tummy time

Jackson had some tummy time on his boppy last night. He seemed to really like it. He was so alert. These pictures are so cute, I had to share them.

Happy Anniversary

You ask, how could you forget your anniversary? We forget almost every year. We usually get a card in the mail from Sandie and Lenny Holmes to remind us. Then we quickly run out and get a card/gift for each other. Today I was skyping with Leah and she said Happy Anniversary! I quickly sent Craig an e-card telling him what a wonderful person he is and how lucky I am. (he was in the next room working). A few minutes later he got up and said "oh no, I forgot." I let him think that he was the only one that forgot, but just for a minute, then I let him off the hook. Thank you Craig for 32 wonderful years. xxoo Jeannie

Jacob is a growin

Here is a new picture of Jacob at 4 1/2 months. He is just under 20 lbs. Leah is holding him here and he looks so big. Can't wait to see him a week from Friday. Leah, Kirk and Jacob get to come out for my nieces (Jacqueline) wedding.

Even though Jackson hasn't gained that much weight yet, he sure is changing. He can raise his head when we are burping him. He turns side to side when he hears voices. And boy can he yell. It is a high pitched scream when cold water hits him when cleaning him up. But who wouldn't complain! Here is a new picture of the little man. Look at his shoes!
